Visit Every Continent on the Planet

There are seven continents on earth, and to visit them all is one of the greatest travel challenges you can achieve.

Apparently some people combine the two continents Asia and Europe into a single continent and call it Eurasia……….those people are wrong, really wrong. While others combine the two continents North America and South America and call it the American continent………they’re also really wrong! But in reality there are seven, namely Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. The details are as follows –

Asia43,820,0004,164,252,000Shanghai, China
Africa30,370,0001,022,234,000Lagos, Nigeria
Antarctica13,720,0004,490McMurdo Station, US
Australia3,478,20029,127,000Sydney, Australia
Europe3,930,000738,199,000Moscow, Russia
North America9,460,000542,056,000Mexico City, Mexico
South America6,890,000392,555,000São Paulo, Brazil

A great way to achieve this challenge is to incorporate it into one of STA Travels around the world trips. With STA Travel you can speak to a round the world expert, look at some suggested flights, or go ahead and plan your own trip through them. There are many options available, and many of the trips are discounted for students and young adults (18-25.)

Why not try and visit all of the most populated cities? Or visit the capital city in the largest country within each continent?

Antarctic travel

You definitely can’t count an airport stop over as a visit, and I know what you’re thinking, how am I going to get to Antarctica? Well, thats for you to decide, otherwise it wouldn’t be much of a challenge!
